Mr. Suissa has made me so happy!
I am glad that an established journalist in the Jewish Journal is chiding the Occupy Everywhere protesters for not targeting the real culprits for all the economic and political woes plaguing this country.
"The really guilty ones, in my view, are no the 1 percent 'greedy class' who follow human nature, but the 1 percent political class who have the power to reform the system, but don't."
President Obama brought nothing but the same ol' Beltway Backscratching and backroom deals, even when near-Messianic Candidate Obama preached the lofty creed of "Hope and Change".
Columnist Michelle Malkin exposed the retrenched political culture of corruption from the very beginning. Sadly, only do loyal Obama adherents seem to be seeing the light, staggering out of the disillusionment that a politician on his own self-promoted merits would lead this country out of the wilderness of graft at the expense of the voters.
I do not agree, however, that the protesters should direct their rage at Wall Street and K street, but themselves for electing an emperor with an empty aura deadset on raising up an elite class of micromanagers dedicated to regulating everything. Contrary to the loud, unfocused assertions of frazzled demonstrators and frayed municipal governments, the Obama has issued nothing but regulations, stimulus packages, and mandates which only way on economic growth and spread poverty.
"Maybe their real anger comes from being fooled by a politician once more."
Amen to that! But let's focus on the political class, not the Wall Street executives, who if forced to engage in a free market, free of government intervention and nanny-state paternalism, would have crashed and burned without taking down the rest of the country and the global economy.
