SEX ED SUSPENDED IN IOM SCHOOL
In an Isle of Man school, Sex Ed lessons have been suspended pending a formal investigation into allegations including those about a drag queen guest speaker who ‘tells 11-year-olds there are 73 genders – and made a child who said there are “only two” leave the class’. TEACHERS UNSUPPORTED IN DUTY OF CARE
Despite clear warnings from Suella Braverman that schools socially transitioning children, without their parents’ consent or medical advice, increase their exposure to a negligence claim, teachers who wish to fulfil their duty of care to children are often abandoned by their schools, a senior minister revealed to The Mail on Sunday.
IRISH GOVERNMENT DROPS GENDER SPECTRUM TEACHING PLANS
Strong objections have been raised by ROI parents, in consultation responses to the draft Social, Personal and Health Education (SPHE) curriculum for 12 to 15-year-olds, about content that denies the reality of biological sex. This appears to be a major reason why Ireland’s National Council for Curriculum and Assessment has now reportedly decided to abandon the changes. More details here.
