Ron DeSantis comes from blue-collar roots in the state of Florida. Nothing was handed to him, he worked his way through college and led his team as the Yale Baseball captain.
After earning his undergraduate degree, Ron DeSantis graduated from Harvard Law School, but was so moved by the events of September 11, 2001, that he volunteered to serve in the Navy to fight for our freedom.
When he returned, he started a life of public service by serving Florida as both Congressman and now Governor.
Despite all his years of fighting to ensure the American people enjoy the freedom we’re promised in this country, he’s watched the Left strip away freedoms at every turn and impose radical agendas on children, families, and consumers nationwide.
In 2009, Ron met the love of his life Casey in Florida, and he’s now the proud father of 6, 5, and 3-year-old children. Because of his kids, Ron DeSantis knows that this fight is personal and understands the frustration parents face when teachers’ unions and liberal groups shove a political agenda down the throats of children. |
