This was one of the finest moments in all of my activism over the last three years.
The wonder, the power, the beauty of Americans fighting for their country, and demanding the rule of law in their own state.
We saw people of all backgrounds showing up in the Huntington Beach City Council Chambers.
Then we rocked the chambers with our chants:
“Build That Wall! Build That Wall!”
This was a fine day for the Take Back California Movement!
It was incredible. We refused to be silent, and even the police were on our side, just making sure that we weren’t going to pop off and shout during the city council proceedings.
What a great day in Huntington Beach! So much winning.
Huntington Beach took the extraordinary and welcome step of suing the state of California directly. Now other cities and counties can file amicus briefs with Surf City since the deadline for amicus briefs with the DOJ has expired.
Ladies and Gentlemen of the state of California and throughout the country, we need all of you to show up and demand the rule of law here in the state of California!
