HIRA DECLARES VICTORY AGAINST ELECTION FRAUD IN THE CASE OF
ANDRIA TUPOLA’S HANDPICKED ILLEGAL NONCITIZEN CANDIDATE
HIRA CALLS ON STATE PARTY OFFICERS AND THE MINORITY LEADER
TO IMMEDIATELY RESIGN FOR EMBRACING ELECTIONS FRAUD AND
CALLS FOR THEIR PROSECUTION FOR PUSHING AN ILLEGAL CANDIDATE
Honolulu, Hawaii — At 11pm this past Friday evening, the State Office of Elections finally joined with the State Attorney General and the Hawaii Republican Assembly (HIRA) in finally determining that Andria Tupola’s staff member and handpicked state house candidate Sailau Timoteo is ineligible to run for office in 2018 because she had illegally filed nomination papers as a noncitizen; papers which have now been voided.
In the official, late night proclamation signed by the state’s chief election officer, Scott Nago declared that the Nanakuli Republican candidate “is no longer considered to be a candidate for office” and confirmed HIRA president Eric Ryan’s assertion that Timoteo had been illegally voting as a noncitizen and had illegally placed herself on the 2018 ballot for the same reason of noncitizenship, in violation of the state constitution and state law.
Furthermore, Nago’s proclamation warns that since ballots have already been printed and mailed, no votes cast for Sailau Timoteo will be counted and that notices will be “prominently posted” at polling places on election day.
In light of Timoteo’s disqualification, HIRA president Eric Ryan is today declaring victory against election fraud. “HIRA is proud to have initiated the complaint to multiple law enforcement agencies about Andria Tupola’s illegal, knowing and deliberate attempt to replace herself with an illegal noncitizen candidate. It’s time for Tupola and other party officers to resign or be removed from party posts as well as prosecuted for their role in this conspiracy – a scandal for which Republicans will be remembered for years to come. Now, the average voter recognizes that the Hawaii GOP stands in favor of voter fraud by supporting illegal voting by noncitizens and in favor of election fraud by putting illegal noncitizen candidates on the ballot.”
The Hawaii Republican Party, which is now solely run by its state chair Shirlene Ostrov by her own executive fiat two weeks ago, announced in a decision by Ostrov late Saturday afternoon that a committee formed of the very same party officers responsible for the humiliatingly failed vetting of Sailau Timoteo would now form a committee to select Timoteo’s replacement on the ballot, even though the Elections Office has not invited the Hawaii GOP to even submit a new candidate. Despite the defiant tone of Ostrov and Tupola last week to press ahead with mounting a legal challenge and force illegal voter and noncitizen Timoteo onto the 2018 ballot, the local GOP’s brand new ad hoc “Committee on Vacancies” has been formed in hopes of choosing another Republican candidate for House District 43. According to HIRA’s Eric Ryan, this move suggests that the state party has finally abandoned hopes of salvaging Timoteo’s candidacy after months of behind the scenes scrambling to break the law. The new committee consists of Timoteo’s mentor, boss, and campaign cheerleader Andria Tupola, state chair Shirlene Ostrov, national committeeman Gene Ward, vice chair for candidate recruitment Jane Tatibouet, and some unknown law school student Eric Kamanu who was recently installed as the state party’s secretary following a resignation.
