Demand Retraction from Racist, Hateful Norwalk Patriot for Smear Against NLMUSD Parents

If you are not aware already, the Norwalk Patriot published a vile, dishonest hit piece in which they labeled mothers and fathers in Norwalk and La Mirada “a hate group.”

CA MassResistance activists and allies showed up in good faith to speak the truth about what is going on in the John Glenn High School Student well-being centers.

They lied about us, and they claimed that our outrage about the well-being center is unfounded:

This is inexcusable. Specifically, the reporter, Vincent Medina, referenced a hate group in Alabama called “The Southern Poverty Law Center” in order to atack us. That hate group has a long history of defaming Jews, Muslims, immigrants, Christians, conservatives–and the same group tried to shut down school choice for African-American students in Mississippi. The SPLC libels MassResistance as a hate group, too.

The SPLC is facing a serious lawsuit right now over their defamatory labels, and they will very likely lose that case:

On top of that, the Norwalk Patriot miswrote “MassResistance” as two words, and they lied about the student well-being centers, claiming that we have the facts all wrong, and that Planned Parenthood has nothing to do with them in John Glenn High School.

We need every single one of you to write to the editor and the publisher as well as the reporter to AND call the newspaper:

1. Retract the libelous references to the Southern Poverty Law Center.
2. Stop calling mothers and fathers who care about their children “a hate group.”
3. Report the truth about what we shared, that the John Glenn High School staff are trained by Planned Parenthood
