resident of the state of California, I have witnessed and endured the
choke-hold that public sector unions can have on state legislators.
In
California, schools are suffering with fewer funds, public safety is losing
staff, public works sit idle and neglected, and cities have no power to
authorize pay reductions, pension reform, or benefit cuts.My state legislature
cannot pass a responsible budget, for the majority refuse to make decisions in
the best interests of the state which will harm the interests of public sector unions.
sector unions have bled the Golden State dry.

rights of public employees, an expensive entitlement which frustrated balanced
budgeting.
his brave example will spur more governors, including mine, to stand up to the
public employees, curb their powers, and restore fiscal restraint to
statehouses across the country.
your state’s governor. There is no justification for removing a sitting
executive who has initiated reforms which have saved Wisconsinites money, jobs,
and core services without raising taxes or siphoning away tax payer dollars on
unjustified and limited disbursements.
