We can talk in circles about the atrocities that have happened in Venice over the years, especially as the encampments became ridden with violence, robbery and sexual assault. However, the truth is, the political apparatus of LA City has handcuffed law enforcement from effectively dealing with the exploding homeless population.
In the end, it was our HOST team that unclogged the bottleneck, got the homeless the help they needed, and pressured LA City officials to respond.

My responsibility does not end at the limits of my jurisdiction.
This is about getting people the help they need while also regulating public space.
My opponent, Robert Luna, would have NEVER stepped foot in Venice to help the homeless.

Please donate to our campaign and talk to your friends and neighbors about how important our re-election is.
