Governor LePage:
Your candor, no matter how caustic or uncautious, is an inspiration. To think that an executive in the North East, besides New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, is not afraid to tell it like it is, well, it is refreshing, to say the least.
I appreciated your blunt declaration during your campaign:
"There will be a lot of headlines that show me saying, 'Governor LePage tells President Obama to "Go to hell!"'"
In Southern California, one of our local Congresswoman — Maxine Waters — shouted to a crowd of despairing minorities, "I think that Tea Party should go straight to hell."
I wonder what hell would be like for these two progressives?
I imagine a world where free markets run free. Where people of all races, colors, creeds, and other label would be able to conduct business without interference or enabled dependency on the state.
I imagine these outrageous, race-bating liberals unable to control anything, frustrated to the point of exploding in a fiery rage, unable to tolerate the unmitigated liberty of Americans exercising their rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
And there would be nothing they could do about it but watch and seethe with bitter envy, like a Tantalus submerged in water, when he would have preferred to lap up dust or sand.
All the while, Waters and Obama would only be able to mutter, "This should not be happening; this should not be happening. . "
I also envision staff members in your previous businesses finally being able to receive a raise without losing a subsidy from the government.
In short, hell for President Obama, Congresswoman Maxine Waters, and all other left-wing politicians would be a nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all, the federal government according to the enumerated dictates of the United States Constitution, and all remaining powers delegated to the several States and the People.
This fantasy may seem a bit sophomoric to some, but I imagine that you would answer:
"Tell them to kiss my butt!"
