Here are my full comments regarding Brady v. Maryland concerns at the LA County Sheriffs Civilian Oversight Commission hearing.
Brady v. Maryland is a crucial Supreme Court case, one which ensures that prosecutors cannot withhold crucial evidence which would help defense attorneys or set a defendant free.
This ruling requires prosecutors to provide all evidence in relation to a criminal case–All!–including the names of potential malefactors and a list of sheriff's deputies repeatedly cited or written up for misconduct.
Of course, I gave a warm and welcome shout-out to US Attorney General Jeff Sessions!
God bless our Attorney General!
