The cabal of public workers (funded by forced dues) electing
public officials to pilfer the public purse for the private purposes of the
public workers is the antithesis of democracy, a cycle of legal collusion and
corruption which has shut out taxpayers without their input, import, or
opinion. English teacher and library media specialist Mary Bell, also president
of Wisconsin Education Association Council, should study the deleterious
influence of public sector unions, which have shut down entire cities, freezing
communities and their commerce, just to protect their pensions, benefits, and emoluments
from the government, along with their political hegemony over handpicked,
sycophant politicians.

By curbing the collective bargaining rights of state
workers, who contributed too little will taking too much, Governor Walker and
his duly elected Republican majorities, and the voters of Wisconsin decided to
take back their power over the public purse.  If state employees represented the needs of
working families and strong schools for the next generation, they would have
gladly restored to school boards, public agencies, and surrounding communities
their power to review and rewrite lucrative contracts without extensive
negotiations or concessions to public sector employees.

Ms. Bell’s construction of Wisconsin’s recall efforts as “heroic”
is one of the most insulting malapropisms in modern labor history, one which
voters have resoundingly rejected. Neither historic nor heroic, the reactionary
protests of the weakened and unpopular, as well as entitled and overpaid,
public sector unions of Wisconsin were actually been both histrionic and hysterical
(funny as well as crazy).
