Jeremy Lin, the Asian kid with basketball game, got cut from
the Golden State Warriors. What a set back, he may have been thinking. But if
that one team had not let him go, Mr. Lin would not playing for the New York
Knicks.

According to Richard Karlgaard of Forbes Magazine, Lin's setback was his promotion, and a long-term setback for the Warriors

Most teams remain a meandering franchise because they invest
in a star player, not a team player.
Jeremy Lin makes everyone play better. Look for the introvert, look for
the one who will listen, who can become great, not the ones who think that they
are all that, and therefore have no intention of compunction to be better.
I can imagine what Jeremy Lin would say:
"But when thou art
bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh,
he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the
presence of them that sit at meat with thee.

"For whosoever exalteth
himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. " (Luke 14: 10-11)

He was a humbled athlete who has exalted the One who has made him what he is today. For this, God has exalted Jeremy Lin.
