Earlier today, I informed readers that not only did the city council prevent Dr. Robert Newman from speaking, because they removed him from the chambers for nonsensical reasons, they also prevented a legal resident of the city from addressing the city council.
Here are my comments on my post about Edmundo Perez:
Legal resident Edmundo Perez wanted to address the council about the pension liabilities and the looming bankruptcy of the city of Huntington Park. Mayor Karina Macias declared that she had not received a speaker card from Perez. That is a lie. Not only did the city council throw out a senior citizen for exercising his First Amendment rights, they denied a city the right to address the city council.
Please share this – and push the Huntington Park city council to rescind their appointment of two illegal aliens, to step down from office, and make sure that no city ever violates federal law.
One reader, named Steven Davis of Maywood, CA, left the following comment:
Steven Davis This is a First Amendment Right. Arrest any Government Agent who violates your rights under 18 USC 241 and 242 under your power of Citizens Arrest.
So, what does the first statute state?
If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or
intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or
District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to
him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having
so exercised the same; or

so exercised the same; or
If two or more persons go in disguise on the highway, or on the
premises of another, with intent to prevent or hinder his free exercise or
enjoyment of any right or privilege so secured—

enjoyment of any right or privilege so secured—
They shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than
ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation
of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap,
aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an
attempt to kill, they shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for any
term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.

So, Efren Martinez orders to the city council and the chief of police to remove a senior citizen for exercising his First Amendment rights. . .sounds like a conspiracy against his rights to me!
And they did the same thing to Edmundo Perez, in that the council refused to allow him to address the city council during public comment.

Time to bring in the feds, people! Huntington Park City Council is in big trouble now.
