taxes or hurting working class families. By implementing reforms of the public
sector unions’ collective bargaining rights, cities and school districts
received the freedom to negotiate for lower contracts without going bankrupt or
cutting core services. Even recall challenger Tom Barrett of Milwaukee grudgingly
admitted that Walker’s reforms kept his city from going insolvent, and the
Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel endorsed the Governor whom they had openly
criticized.

country if Congress does not take serious action to reform entitlements, cut
spending, and streamline revenue increases to speed up economic recovery.

Following the 2010 shellacking, in which progressive
liberal Russ Feingold lost to Tea-Party backed Ron Johnson, now enters
four-term governor, GOP Health Secretary and Presidential candidate Tommy
Thompson.
As a four-term governor, Thompson enacted welfare
reform before it became fashionable to discuss it at all. The federal
government caught on and implemented a similar program throughout the country.
First elected to the Wisconsin in 1966, he championed his opposition with
frequent stalling tactics.
cut taxes 91 times ( Tommy's
Tax Cuts.)
He also successfully partnered with a
Democratic legislature to enact the first school-choice program in the country
(Thompson's
School Choice) . Staunch conservatives should hail rather than assail
Thompson’s record of working with the opposition to push an agenda which limits
government and enhances the power and dignity of the citizen and the taxpayer.
spending, both with voters.
Despite partisan reports that spending doubled during his tenure, Thompson has
signed the Grover Norquist pledge to oppose any new taxes ( Thompson
Says No to Taxes).
Despite the distortions that Tommy glowing
supported ObamaCare, Politifact reported
that the charge was false. Regarding healthcare reform, Thompson has outlined a
plan not only to repeal ObamaCare, including its huge tax increase, but to enact
an extension of the Hospital Quality Incentive
Demonstration (HQID), a program which he implemented as Health Secretary under
George W. Bush. Thompson also supports permitting
insurers to purchase policies across state line while offering small businesses
a tax credit to defray insurance costs. Tommy on Healthcare
Congressman Tammy Baldwin is one of the most liberal
legislators in Washington (Liberal
Tammy). Baldwin has voted against
extending the Bush tax cuts, reducing bureaucratic hurdles for small
businesses, the income tax deduction for small businesses, and payroll tax cut
extensions (Tammy
Anti-Tax Cut) . Baldwin has resisted measures to increase this country’s
energy independence, voting against offshore drilling.
Like many progressives, she voted for job-killing Cap and Trade (which
thankfully died in the Senate). She also signed on to support ObamaCare, an
outrageous entitlement which has robbed Medicare to the tune of $500 billion
dollars. Native son Paul Ryan has outlined at length the many failure of ObamCare, including the rise in premiums
and the decline in access. Hospitals are closing all over the country because
of this legislation. (LA

Tommy. Now Tommy Thompson is polling ahead of Tammy by nine
points. Another poll
indicates that Thompson is ahead by four
points. Either way, Wisconsin is tilting red, and there is no better man to
represent Wisconsin in Washington than Assembly, Governor, Secretary Health and
Human Services secretary Tommy Thompson.
On November 6th, vote for
Tommy for the US Senate!
