Action Alert! Protect the Word, Stop the LGBT Hate!

I have put together a complete list for all the CA State Senators.


Just like with what we did to stop H4664 in Massachusetts, we have to put a full-court press against the State Senators to stop AB 2943.


This legislation will outlaw all conversion therapy, and criminalize the freedom of speech to provide counsel for any kind of fee.


I did a lot of research on what has been going on for the last five months on this terrible legislation.


Democratic state senators have been working hard to stop this thing as much as they can. Even in very liberal districts, their offices are getting flooded, flooded, flooded with phone calls!!!!


I contacted the California Family Council–they have already sponsored a call-in day.


AB 2943 has already been delayed for a month following the uproar over this terrible bill.

This bill will turn the sale of goods and services to break free of LGBT behaviors a CRIME and label it as consumer fraud!

You need to use the clips from the video above, which features Dr. David Pickup–and features him yelling at the committee when they choose to pass that perverse legislation out of committee to a floor vote! Dr. Pickup really kicked up — and it was good!

The legislation has passed through all committees in the state senate.


NOW The plan …


1. We need all Republicans and 5 Democrats to reject this perversion = 19 votes out of 40


One seat is vacant (SD-32), and 20 votes cannot pass anything. Dems need 21 votes to pass AB 2943 to the governor. If the state senate passes the bill with amendments, then it goes back to the State Assembly for another vote.


The hard deadline to pass legislation is August 31–there is no way for either chamber to extend the deadline past that date.
