Duncan Hunter (R-Alpine)

I commend Congressman Duncan Hunter (R-Alpine) for his efforts to stop the rampant lawlessness in more than two hundred cities throughout the United States. Local authorities have neither right nor reason to resist federal investigations and inquiries into the immigration status of suspects and known criminal offenders. The fact that individuals under custody later turn out to be illegal aliens should be reason enough to deport them, for they have already broken the law.

Kate Steinle

As long as major cities like San Francisco feel justified and fear no repercussions for the brazen aiding and abetting of illegal immigration lawlessness, senseless murders like the death of 32-year-old Kate Steinle, shot by repeat offender (and illegal alien) Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez will continue, a crime which occurred in broad daylight.

Henry Waxman (D-Los Angeles)

This country needs more representatives who will stand strong against illegal immigration and seek to protect all American citizens, born and naturalized. My previous Congressman, Henry Waxman (D-Los Angeles) did nothing following the brutal hit-and-run death of one of his constituents by an illegal alien driver, a death which incidentally occurred in San Francisco. To this day, South Bay shores still receive illegal aliens on panga boats trying to sneak into the country.

Furthermore, I commend the San Diego Union-Tribune for reporting on Congressman Hunter’s ongoing efforts to hold states and municipalities accountable for not abiding by nor enforcing this country’s immigration laws. It is disconcerting that federal leaders from both parties have helped kill Hunter’s previous legislative efforts to stop sanctuary city insanity.
