This photo is as telling as it gets about the Democratic Party's best prospects for 2016.
Hillary Clinton seated on the Left (how apropos), stares into the world with a vapid, empty stare.
In fact, if it is not apparent already, is a cardboard cut-out. Her policies in many respects are just copies of tired socialist agenda adopted by one-term blunder Jimmy Carter, then adapted into Hope and Change by Barack Obama.
Obama wanted to induce a transformative presidency. What he certainly did was transform the Democratic Party from a liberal opposition to an illiberal, statist status quo front for communistic policies.
Looking closer, one will find creases and bending points slicing up the former First Lady, proof that Clinton has not aged well, and cannot flex or weave with hard times.
Her supporters have more life and enthusiasm than she does.
Her supporters actually interact with other people.
Her supporters can operate two email servers at once, too, without a doubt.
Her supporters probably would not stand with a man who would routinely lie with other women, then lie about it to a Grand Jury.
Her supporters should consider running for President rather than the former Secretary of state Hillary Clinton. They believe more than she that "Hillary" can make a difference, especially since all she could only offer the following after the brutal massacre and deaths for four US diplomats station in Benghazi: "What difference does it make?"
Maybe calling the Democratic Party "Weekend at Bernie's" was premature. It should be called "Weekend at Hillary'", since the party and its core supporters will have to prop her up for months to make her seem viable.
Commenting on Chuck Todd's "Meet the Press", conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt certainly thought so:
Really, though, what difference did Hillary Clinton make for her party and this country?
In her youth, she was a die-hard Goldwater fan. She supported a Republican for President, even though he had run for office about sixteen years too early. Is she really a member of the Grand Old Party pretending to be a Democrat? Those connections to Saul Alinsky really don't help her, after eight years of a failed Alinsky acolyte in the White House.
She tried to push single-payer health care in 1994, and single-handedly handed Congress to the Republicans, with the GOP taking back the House for the first time in forty years. Drivers posted sardonic bumper stickers which read: "Impeach the President, and Mr. Clinton, too".
She was a US Senator from New York, even though she never grew up there. She rejected homosexual marriage and voted for the War on Iraq. Her tenure in the US Senate was a long weekend of doing nothing.
No wonder cardboard cut-out Hillary has her hands folded. The less that she touches or does, the better for the Democratic Party.
