State Senator Ricardo Lara (D-Long Beach, Huntington Park) is a coward.
He is also a bully. Much of the time, the two issues are not exclusive, but sadly complementary.
SB 1146 did pass out of the Assembly Judiciary Committee, completely along partisan lines.
Assemblyman Donald Wagner did his best to ensure that everyone knew what Ricardo Lara and the Big LGBT Hate Machine are really up to.
SB 1146 is all about opening up more wounds for Social Injustice Warriors to storm Christian colleges and set them up for lawsuits.
No amount of amendments is going to change the unnerving truth about Lara's anti-Christian, anti-Judeo-Christian value agenda.

This is all wrong.
Now, left-wing interests often rely on this subtle tactic employed in the state legislature.
A certain bill reaches a moment of passage, an element of momentum.
After certain committees, however, the bill lies low.
The state assembly is now on recess.
There will be another hearing on SB 1146 very soon.
August 3rd, to be precise.
Which committee? The Assembly Appropriations Committee.
These are the members, and they need to hear from every Californian up and down the state.
Call each one of them, especially if the assemblymember represents you directly in the legislature.
Tell them loudly and clearly: "Stop the Bigotry! Vote NO on SB 1146!"
