CA GOP Share Their Homes in Trump with LA Times

It has been what .. barely two weeks, and Donald Trump has accomplished more for this country–even for California–then Obama could put together in eight years.

Republicans, conservatives, and all other pro-American patriots are rallying to a new President and a new era for this country.

A new birth of freedom, and a clear insistence that we will not be bullied into silence.

We will not retreat into safe spaces or run away from the truth. Never again will the forces of Gorge Soros get away with intimidating into oblivion.

Pro-Trump Californians hope his victory can fuel a GOPrevival in the Golden State

Hundreds of Donald Trump’s California supporters gathered
Saturday to celebrate his impending inauguration — and to try to funnel the
energy that propelled him to the White House into turning their cobalt-blue
home state red.


This article for the Los Angeles Times is kind of old, but it's still worth visiting at any rate.

“If we can get Donald J. Trump to be president of the United
States, certainly we can get Californians registered to be Republicans,”
longtime conservative activist Johnnie Morgan said to applause. “With the
energy we have now, with the momentum we have now, with the inspiration we have
now, with the committed people we have now, we can do this. It will spread like
wildfire.”

Johnnie Morgan is a hero and a saint for the conservative cause in California.

I am grateful that he is working hard, not backing despite the left-wing onslaught.

It’s a tall order. Voter registration in the GOP is at a
historic low in the state, no Republican has been elected statewide in more
than a decade, and Democrats dominate the state’s congressional delegation and
Legislature. Trump supporters hope this could be dislodged by the coalition the
Republicans stitched together to win the presidency, although most acknowledge
the hurdles they face.


Let's see how long that lasts.

The Democratic Party of California has now been overrun by Berniecrats. They see no problem that government cannot fix. Bernie supporters were the most "berned" in California, since the corrupt media pushed that Hillary had won all the delegates needed to win the nomination, despite the fact that … she had not gotten the numbers needed.

California is on full-tilt trouble at this point. Republicans need to stand their ground on principle and fight for this country, and for the fundamental values which make the country what it really is.

Despite California’s overwhelmingly Democratic tilt, the
president-elect does have significant support in the state. Democratic nominee
Hillary Clinton won California nearly 2-to-1, but because of the state’s
enormous population, Trump still received nearly 4.5 million votes. That’s more
than he received in every other state except Texas and Florida. Hundreds of
thousands of those supporters volunteered to help Trump win critical battlegrounds,
making phone calls and traveling to knock on doors.

“We need change. We have that in Washington, but we need
change in Sacramento to bring down the liberal pathetic establishment that has
destroyed this state,” said Nestor Moto, 22, a gay Latino GOP activist from
Long Beach. “This country belongs to people like you and me …  and it is time we take it back.”

The energy at the gathering was palpable — and at times
controversial. A band called Tracy Barnes and The Deplorables sang “Make
America Great Again” as a man dressed in drag as Clinton shook a tambourine.
Supporters posed with a Trump cut-out beneath a red, white and blue balloon
arch. Another speaker told a crude joke about former White House intern Monica
Lewinsky.

There were few details on actual efforts to support the
president-elect’s agenda or any California-specific plans. An afternoon
break-out session focused on the latter was canceled. But many in attendance —
who have grown accustomed to long periods of losses — were simply happy to
celebrate a victory.

“The Republican Party in California, they just feel it’s a
lost cause,” said actress Reatha Grey Simon, 67. The Los Angeles resident was a
Democrat in her youth, helping Tom Bradley’s campaigns, but became a Republican
during Reagan’s presidency.

I know Reatha Grey! She's an actress good friends with Betty White! She has been an active Republican in the Culver City, South Los Angeles region. There is one reason why the California Republican Party has become a lost cause: they have no cause to fight for and potential lose. They have folded into becoming like the Democrats, while individual Republicans placate liberals and join their ranks to hold onto any sliver of power.

“We’re motivated now. We have Donald Trump leading the
crusade,” she said. “We’ve got all these wins right now. This is a perfect time
for the Republicans to really turn California red for a change.”

Mike Simpfenderfer, a delegate to the Republican National
Convention, instructed the audience to chant “President Trump” three times,
which they did with increasing gusto.

“We did it! We did it!” Simpfenderfer said. “Today is when
we start helping our president govern!”

Donald Trump is better than Reagan, bolder than the Bushes, and more active than Teddy Roosevelt.

And it's only been two weeks.

I believe that conservatives and Republican-allied Trump supporters can make the difference in this state. What we need to do is fight back and stand our ground, rather than play nice and try to fit into the desiccated, failing culture of Hollywood and San Francisco socialism.
