It is not a normal albeit eccentric lifestyle.
It's a destructive set of behaviors based on distortions and false identities.
This is not about hate. This about stopping the hurt.
Much of the time, the more that I hear the stories from former and practicing homosexuals, they tell me that their identity crisis and the behaviors which follow come from abuses in their past.

I believe that they would have been doubly ashamed for finding out what that it was a biological male who had abused them. There was a time when that young man was a victim, and then he called himself "Jane"
You can listen to the interview when he sat on the board of the South Bay LGBT center.
He stated that he did not "feel comfortable in the male role."
I suspect that this young man was abused in some way.
For someone to have such a damaged sense of gender identity–that could only come from such trauma.
This person needed help.
