OUR POLICE WEEK
APPRECIATION & MOTHER'S
DAY BRUNCH 

WASHINGTON, DC – The Remembrance Project hosted 10 Border Patrol Agents, the family of Border Patrol Agent Javier Vega, and the widow of Officer Don Johnston to show our appreciation and to celebrate Mother's Day.  See photo below.
 
"We were fortunate to have the opportunity to express our appreciation on behalf of our stolen lives families and all patriots for the sacrifices and dedication of all law enforcement, and help make Mothers Day memorable, considering the unfortunate circumstances, said Maria Espinoza. 
 
Ruth Johnston-Martin, Chaplain and widow of Officer Don Johnston, led the morning prayer with her husband Steve Martin at her side.
 
Police Week 2017 was a first time event for the family of Border Agent Javier Vega, Jr.  Andrea Vega, Agent Vega's wife, their three (3) children, his parents Marie and Javier Vega attended the national conference.

Brandon Judd, National Border Patrol Union President and Paul Perez, Border Patrol Union Rio Grand Valley Sector President and the other agentprovided much support to the Vega family.

 
We ask for prayers for all of our men and women who serve to protect our communities and country.
