CONCORD – NH GOP Chair Jeanie Forrester released the following statement on the passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act:
“For the first time in over 30 years, regular Americans will receive relief from the federal government’s bloated, punitive and oppressive tax code. Under Republican leadership, Congress has successfully passed tax reform that will expand our economy and increase paychecks for hard working Americans. Meanwhile, New Hampshire’s federal delegation behave like puppets on a string for Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi. New Hampshire deserves real leadership in our federal delegation that puts the interests of New Hampshire citizens first.”
