REMINDER: FAIR Needs YOU to Help Stop the Year-End Amnesty Rush
There is a strong possibility that the federal government will shut down on Friday. Why? Because of overt threats from Democrats and pro-amnesty Republicans who want to hold the government hostage to enact an unconditional amnesty for millions of illegal aliens (not just DACA recipients).
In other words, if the government shuts down, it will be because one side was willing to sacrifice the interests of the American people in order to reward millions of lawbreakers.
This cannot stand. Right now, Congress has a responsibility to fund the continued operation of our government. As part of this process, there is no legal or ethical obligation to also grant amnesty to illegal aliens who have violated our immigration laws.
Amnesty should never be the number one priority for Congress. Especially not now!
We finally have a president who is committed to securing our borders, protecting American jobs, ending chain migration, and stopping dangerous sanctuary cities. The president, like you, understands those are the priorities, not mass amnesty. Given that, wouldn't it be a shame if the only thing Congress did on immigration this whole year was to simply grant amnesty to illegal aliens?!
This is why FAIR needs YOU to help to stop the year-end amnesty rush. Call your three Members of Congress and urge them to make sure the upcoming spending bill to fund the government is free of any amnesties for illegal aliens.
Contact your Representative: 202-883-4964
Contact your two Senators: 202-873-9877
Also call House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and urge them to stand strong in the face of amnesty demands from Democrats and even members of their own party. Tell them you are firmly against any amnesty for illegal aliens as part of a spending bill.
Contact Speaker Ryan: 202-858-3626
Contact Majority Leader McConnell: 202-759-7684
After you make these calls, use the handy form here to contact these lawmakers through email and social media.
