I am urging everyone here to submit comments relating to the following issues (you can write your comments any way you please):

1. The school district needs to enact a policy to ensure that no student, staff member, or administrator ever uses the official logos for individual school campuses or the school district as a whole in connection with social media. That was one of the core problems with the Madrona Middle School Instagram account that was also promoting Black Lives Matter. The account was giving the impression that it spoke for ALL the students at Madrona Middle School, and that it was the official account for the school. That is wrong.

Here's the whole story on how MassResistance pressed the school to remove the account:

2. The school district board of education need to bring their meetings to the public, away from all of this "virtual meeting" nonsense. There is no reason for the school board to stay hidden from the public. Other school districts and boards in other states are holding meetings in larger venues to allow for social distancing. The school board could meet in any one of the four newly built auditoriums in the school district!

3. The Torrance Unified School Board needs to scrap the Positive Prevention Plus Sex-Ed Curriculum. This program is excessive, explicit, and completely inappropriate. AB 329, the comprehensive sex-ed curriculum law, is so broadly written, that school districts have more leeway as to what they can teach the students. There is no need for such excessive and explicit content.

Here are photos and documents of the PPP sex-ed curriculum — check it out for yourself!
