I just called the CA State Assembly Accountability and Administrative Review Committee as Senator Ricardo Lara’s California-Mexico border: federally funded infrastructure, that would have penalized contractors or individuals involved in the construction of the border wall, apparently did not go forward for a committee hearing yesterday as was scheduled.

The Assembly Accountability and Administrative Review Committee staff member informed me that Senator Ricardo Lara has “pulled” SB 30 because there were not enough votes for the bill to pass out of the committee! This is great Sacramento news, for a change!
